Description
It's 1692. Bridget Bishop is accused of witchcraft and YOU are the jury. Hear the evidence, cross-examine the witnesses and determine the outcome. The actors respond as Puritans, revealing much about the Puritan mind. Is Bridget Bishop capable of witchcraft? You decide.
This summer (2026), by special arrangement, Cry Innocent can be enjoyed in the air-conditioned auditorium of the National Park Visitor's center, thanks to our hosts Essex National Heritage Area! The pre-show Puritan town news and arrest of Bridget Bishop will continue on Essex Street, this time heading in a different direction--into the National Park Service building! Check-in with our characters in Armory Park and on Essex Street to learn where to meet. They'll give you your colonial admission.
Last minute tickets and/or cash users may also obtain tickets on site at the National Park Visitor's Center. All tickets are final sale.
